I am an independent researcher and engineer based in Sapporo, Japan. I study infectious-disease dynamics, the structure of time series, and the systems that make research reproducible.
My work sits between medicine, statistics, and computing. I am in the medical degree course at Sapporo Medical University, take a statistics degree at Korea National Open University alongside it, and studied data science at Hokkaido University before that. I started programming in November 2020 and work as a freelance AI engineer; I also run Miraijuku, an academy that prepares students for Japanese university entrance.
This site is the public record of that work: study notes, research write-ups, documented projects, and essays. Current writing is edited for reproducibility and usefulness; older posts keep their original dates and routes as an archive of what I was learning at the time.
