Curriculum vitae

Minjun Park

Independent researcher and engineer

Sapporo, Japan

I study infectious-disease dynamics, time-series structure, and the systems that make research reproducible. This page is the factual record behind the publication: what I have built, measured, and written.

Education

  1. Sapporo Medical University

    2025–

School of Medicine — MD course

Medical degree course. Recorded coursework includes basic life sciences, medical English, and medical physics.

    • Medicine
  2. Korea National Open University

    2024–2026

    Statistics — degree track

Statistics degree taken alongside medical study. The final semester was in progress at the time of writing.

    • Statistics
  3. Hokkaido University

    2019–2023

Data Science — undergraduate study, not completed

Undergraduate data-science study on a full government scholarship through the Korea–Japan Joint Science and Engineering Student Program, left before completion. The statistical and numerical work listed on this page builds on that training.

Research

Questions I have pursued with explicit methods, data, and reproducible code.

  1. Nocturnal rest–activity transition instability

    2026

NHANES 2013–2014 · open analysis repository

Transition-level analysis of nocturnal rest and activity states rather than aggregate sleep duration, with the dataset, preprocessing, and statistics released together so the result can be re-derived.

    • Epidemiology
    • Time series
    • Reproducibility
  2. Chronoinfectiology seminar

    Infection dynamics and circadian structure

Reading and modelling work on how timing and rhythmic structure interact with infectious-disease dynamics, kept as a versioned seminar repository rather than loose notes.

    • Modelling
  3. Spectrum estimation: Fortran to Python and C

    Blackman–Tukey and maximum-entropy methods

Restored a legacy Fortran spectral-analysis implementation, ported it to Python and C, and built comparison tests that pin the ports to the original numerical behaviour.

Publication

Long-form technical writing, edited against a written style guide.

  1. 0archlinux0 — Publication

    2021–

Independent publication · EN / KO / JA

A trilingual publication covering study notes, research, documented projects, and essays, with stable routes, per-article evidence metadata, and a migration corpus that preserves every legacy URL.

    • Publishing
    • Technical writing
  2. CTF agent pipeline

    Series · EN / KO / JA

A documented pipeline for solving capture-the-flag challenges with agent assistance, written so each step can be audited and replayed rather than reported as a single result.

    • Security
    • Agents
  3. Jekyll to Astro migration

    Engineering note · CI/CD design

Rebuilt the publication on Astro while keeping the legacy Jekyll build, publishing only from `main`, and gating the cutover on route parity instead of visual inspection alone.
